OSSB will again be providing a 5 week summer paid work program for young adults who are blind or visually impaired. This is a residential program that provides community work experience along with employability skills, activities of daily living, assistive technology instruction, orientation and mobility lessons, social skills, and recreation and leisure opportunities. Applicants must have a BSVI counselor to participate.

The Ohio Department of Education, Office for Exceptional Children in conjunction with The Ohio State School for the Blind will be presenting an adapted physical education workshop. This will be held on Monday, May 4 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The purpose of the workshop is to discuss pertinent topics as it relates to the adapted physical education field. In addition, important current updates will also be provided. Registration is open through STARS using your SAFE Account. Up to 75 participants can be accommodated.
