OSSB Band in Tournament of Roses Parade
The Ohio State School for the Blind, the ONLY BLIND marching band in the nation, possibly the world,
have applied, and their application has been accepted to march in the
2010 TOURNAMENT OF ROSES PARADE!

Co-Directors are Dan Kelley and Carol Agler. The band became a marching band in 2005 when the Ohio School for the Deaf revived its football program after a 30+ hiatus. There are currently 17 members in the band and about as many sighted marching assistants. They recently performed at an Ohio State University Skull Session in St. John Arena. 2009-2010 Marching Band Schedule

Band Camp at OSSB from 4 p.m. Aug. 9 through 3 p.m. August 16
ALL marching band students MUST attend.
Monday to Friday,

Host Rose Parade President Gary DiSano and his wife. They will have the opportunity to see an OSU summer session and to view us during band camp so as to see how we learn so much music in such a short time.
From August 25 through December 21 5:30-7:30 p.m. marching practice Tuesday and Thursday evenings weekly.
